1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use MyHood. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We may request verification of your age at any time, and accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be terminated immediately.

2. Community Rules

MyHood is a neighborhood community platform. To keep it safe and welcoming, you agree not to:

• Post or share hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Engage in harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of other users.
• Post, share, or promote illegal content or activities, including but not limited to drug sales, weapons trafficking, or fraud.
• Spam, scam, or deceive other community members.
• Post sexually explicit or gratuitously violent content.
• Impersonate other individuals or misrepresent your identity.

Violations of these rules may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.

3. Privacy & Location

MyHood is a location-based service. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your approximate location may be shared with other users in your neighborhood to enable local community features.
• Posts you create may display your approximate distance from other users.
• You can control your location sharing through your device settings and app preferences.
• We do not sell your location data to third parties.
• Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post on MyHood. However, by posting content, you grant MyHood a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform for the purpose of operating and improving the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms of Service or Community Rules.
• Your account is reported and found to be in violation after review.
• You are found to be under 18 years of age.
• You engage in activities that harm the platform or its users.

You may also delete your own account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed, though some content may remain in anonymized form.
